Fall 2009/2010 Registration

We are now currently enrolling for the 2009/2010 Season

Dear Parents:

Hopefully, everyone is relaxing and enjoying their summer, now that the good weather has finally arrived! Although no one wants the summer to end, we must now begin planning for the fall. Attached you will find our new fall schedule, along with our program description, policies and prices, and a registration form. For the most part, the schedule is the same. We have, however, added some classes to Saturday and Sunday nights for those students who are unable to attend weekday classes. We’ve also made some operational and policy changes as described below:

Web Site

Winthrop Gymnastics Academy is now on the Web. Check us out at www.winthropgymnastics.com. You will find important information there regarding our class and team programs, schedules, prices, policies, etc. There are also forms that you can download, print, complete, and return to the gym.

E-mail

In an effort to improve our communications with parents, in the future, we will be emailing important information, reminders, etc. directly to parents. We hope this will be more efficient, since we realize that many papers never find their way home, and more environmentally friendly, since we will be generating a lot less paper. In light of this change, it is very important that you provide us with your email address when registering. Also, if you would like to contact us and don’t have the time to stop by or call, feel free to email us at info@winthropgymnastics.com at your convenience. We will respond to emails daily.

New Class Management/Accounts Software

We have purchased and will be transitioning to a new program for tracking students and accounts. In the future, your receipts, invoices, etc. will look slightly different.

Credit Cards

For your convenience, we are now accepting credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, and Discover). This is just another means of paying your bill. You may continue to pay by cash or check.

Registration Fee

A once a year (September thru August) registration fee must be paid at the time of registration for all class and team students. A spot in class will not be held until the registration fee is received. As always, you can come by the gym to register, but you can now also register over the phone with a credit card payment.

New Payment Policies

While we understand that times are tough for all, we must insist that accounts be kept up to date. We must pay our staff and bills in a timely manner and, therefore, cannot withstand large outstanding balances. For this reason, we have implemented the following changes in our payment policy.

Class Payments

Payments for each session must be made in full prior to the 3rd week of the session or your child will not be allowed to continue in class.

Team Payments

Team payments are due on the 1st of each month and no later than the 15th of each month. To ensure a timely payment, we are requiring that all team members have a credit card on file. If we do not receive your payment by the 15th, your credit card we will charged on the 16th. By the 8th of each month, parents will receive an email reminding them that their payment is due and that their credit card will be charged on the 16th if payment is not received by the 15th. If you find this payment option more convenient, you may select it when registering and we will automatically charge your credit card each month. For team members with current outstanding balances, please see Diane or Michelle to work out a payment plan at the time of registration.
